ACCREDITED PHARMACEUTICAL LABORATORY
Expanding the activities of the Medicinal Chemistry Laboratory under the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy of the School of Pharmacy, the Accredited pharmaceutical Laboratory was established by order No. A/21, intended for work in the field of pharmaceutical training, research, and drug testing.
Operating for 18 years, this laboratory, through the certification of the Mongolian National Accreditation Board, has been repeatedly certified for proficiency in chemistry, chemical-physics, and physics testing using the methodology of chemistry, chemical-physics, and physics, starting from 2004 to 2020.
The EM Chemistry Laboratory at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering adheres to the requirements of MNS ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and is one of the five laboratories that have been certified multiple times for proficiency.
Since its establishment, the laboratory has expanded its research to include microbiological testing starting in 2015, in addition to its initial focus on chemical and physical testing of domestic and imported products, as well as some historical products, using methods of chemistry, chemical-physics, and physics. In 2019, the laboratory underwent significant development, establishing a baggage inspection laboratory, a chemical analysis laboratory, and a microbiological laboratory to enhance human safety capabilities. The laboratory is staffed by researchers and teachers with master's and doctoral degrees in science education, ranging from 2 to 30 years of teaching experience at various levels.
